Star of the Night: ...Valora Salinas was everywhere this show. She could certainly make a case for being the star of the show tonight.
Match of the Night: ...I really liked Kronin vs Apathy for myself. It was some good action and the press slam was superb! Great match!
Segment of the Night: ...Valora and Ravenna having their philosophical debate was excellent. Ravenna really tried, but it didn’t work.
Spot of the Night: ...Kronin stands up, not showing any real sign of frustration and keeps pressure up, pulling Apathy to her feet and lifts her into the air in a military press. Kronin holds her there for a few moments before actually pressing her a few times before timing his release until his arms fully extended and tosses Apathy into the air and she lands face first on the mat..
Notes/Thoughts: ...Ok so. Only real wrong thing I saw was Gabriel Tuck didn’t get an entrance that I saw. Otherwise the show looked good.
Also, I want to thank Frank Windsor, Valora Salinas, and Blaise McClancy for help in getting this show written and posted on time! We’ve got a great crew of people working hard behind the scenes and things only promise to get better and better as we near the season two finale!

Star of the Night: Valora Salinas. The camera clearly loved her, she was up and down the show without having a match on it!
Match of the Night: Make that two votes for Kronin vs Apathy. Just a solid, entertaining, competitive match from top to bottom.
Segment of the Night: I know you shouldn't go with segments you wrote yourself, but my counterargument is that Kintaru literally got mailed to Ohio in the segment, so I win.
Spot of the Night: Either Thomas Crowley (apparently) literally murdering people to announce his arrival, or the double Eddie Guerrero spot in Windsor vs Murdock. Or Salazar's heel turn, I didn't see that coming. Lots of good spots, basically.
Notes/Thoughts: A solid show rather than a spectacular one, but still well-written throughout, plus a regular show should always feel like a comedown after a major PPV. It felt a little like some of the segments were more important than some of the matches, but that's fine when there are stories to tell. Everyone seems to have a plan or a plot at the moment, especially with Von Krauss being his usual insidious self. The only part of the show lost on me (and I know I sound like a broken record at this point) is the referee stuff. I feel bad saying that because I know they're Allen's pet project, and I know they're useful for match writers, but I can't find an in-character reason to care about them. Plus the AI voices creep me out.

Star of the Night: Umm well kinda hard not to say Val since she was in multiple segments and had a big presence for someone who didn't even have a match!
Match of the Night: I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the votes for Kronin vs. Apathy as I thought Eron vs. Abbigail was the better match of the ones I wrote. Still, I'll take compliments where I can get them and want to thank Kronin and Apathy for great roleplays. I really can't stress how solid roleplays makes match writing easier.
So for my answer. Of matches I wrote, I vote for Eron vs. Abbigail. Of the matches I did not write, Frank Windsor vs. Murdock was a solid match.
Segment of the Night: Val and Ravenna. Vox and I teamed up on this and when I reread it on the show, I liked the dueling philosophies angle. I watched the debate between Punisher and Daredevil in the Netflix Daredevil series (now available on Disney +) And wanted so bad to do something similar to that and Ravenna and Val delivered.
In a tie with Vox and I's segment was.. Kintaru literally being mailed to ohio. I laughed my ass off at that. Well done to the Bastards.
Spot of the Night: Salazar's heel turn. Poor Ravenna, she's trying to push Val into a good guy and one of her own allies in the Future Shock Society goes bad. How will she and Val respond to the new heel? How will CWF respond? Are there any good guys running the company?
Val's thoughts:
The genius of this show was it makes you want to tune in to see what happens next. Which is what wrestling should do.
The Bastards are gunning for Val's title and Rob Riot failed to defend his ally and possible GF? Will Val take this laying down?
No, Armand Von Krauss pushed and Val gave him what he wanted indicating no one will take her belt and threatening to cripple any member of the Bastards that comes for her
Val would later have a major debate with Ravenna, setting up a match. Ravenna is clearing trying to appeal to Val's better angels but Val is a bitter, jaded and cynical person clinging to a 'end justifies the means' philosophy. How will that play out?
How will Ravenna respond to an ally of hers in Salazar going heel?
Iro Waters also had a heel turn as his obsession with Valora continues to weigh on and distract him. What is next? What price will Von Krauss extract from Iro for failing to defeat Cross?
Kintaru didn't just get future endeavored by the Bastards, they literally mailed him to Ohio.
There was so much in this show that made me want to see what happens next.
Normally, shows after a ppv are a bit of a let down. The fed gives fans and talent a chance to catch their breath and prepare for the next cycle. There was a bit of that, but the debut talent stepped up and gave a solid card. To me, that was the great part of the show. Solid matches from the talent and a lot of segments and spots that reach out and make you excited for the next show to see what happens next.
And that's my final thought. I give the show a solid 4 blood splatters out of 5. The Aztec Gods are pleased but would really prefer more pain and suffering and blood offerings are always appreciated.

In overall, this was really a nice show without such big names on the card, especially after the Naval Warfare. Instead of being typical filler after a big PPV, the show really is picking up what left from there and continues the stories - or kicks new ones. So I'm excited to see how things play out. I can understand why Valora Salinas might be the star of the show, but I really want to name one more person and one stable they were in focus: Eron Hunter and The Bastards. Eron Hunter for the wonderful character development and as victim to the ruthless Greg Salazar. And The Bastards for two very entertaining segments: the first one where Frank discusses with Rob about the most important title and Billy Fowler being called out for doing nothing. The second one where they literally mailed Kintaru to Ohio to the place where overrated wrestler are resting. I honestly grinned like an idiot here, perfect conclusion of the feud with Kintaru! At the moment I really do not want to be in skin of Valora Salinas because she's wearing a ginormous target at the back. The Bastards gunning her down for her title (where Rob helplessly can only stand by. That's gonna suck for him, because bye to having a GF for real), Iro Waters for the second chance and of course Ravenna for proving her wrong. Very interesting nights are about to happen, that's for sure. The demasking at Naval Warfare and taking heel actions from Greg is even to me a big surprise. RJ didn't tell me about this at all, so consider your task successful. The matches were mostly not surprising (except for Iro vs Cross where I really thought the story-forced win of Iro is gonna happen), but that's not neccessarily a bad thing at all because the matches were well written and the results are good for further development. Though, there is one thing which I didn't like - in the seggie with Thomas Crowley and Los Cubanos, the identity of the man beating the team was spoiled in the graphic of the seggie. It's not a biggie since the identity was revealed in same segment anyway, it's just taking the curiosity/guessing play away. Just a thought for the next time. Oh, before I forget, the ads once again were hilarious. Drive-thru crematory in Las Vegas. And one last thing. Don't forget the RPs. They are a huge, huge, HUGE part of developing the show and the CWF itself. Many things they didn't appear in shows are because of the existing RPs before the show which means almost every handler put a certain effort to tell their stories. So it's important to read every RP because only reading the show won't replace the story development and character development in the RPs. So they deserve feedbacks, too. For example, the RP of Eoin O'Rourke even he didn't appear on the card. Or the RPs of Val where she gone Chuck Norris on writing Abbi and Val. Or the more philosphical RPs of Iro Waters and Eron Hunter. Or Frank Windsor really shining as new Valo(u)r Champion.
