Well, well, well, Number #5 lives, right? (a true classic)
Finally after some stressful weeks on work and private life, I'm finally settled which means feedback from me.
Ah, the first match is a published dark match, nice idea to put that before the show start. Well it's obvious that Apathy would win against Mysterion, and I liked that Bene did use the Aztec God as gimmick-of-week. A nice appetizer for the show and a clean debut for her.
Then the tag team match with The Outriders. Well, the team isn't bad or something, it's just I'm not getting warm with this team yet. (emphasizing on "yet"). Then we got a promo from Pacific Rim, heating the tag team feud up which I like. Exactly what we need to live this division up. Done right and correctly, I'm hooked.
Yeah, what can I say. Even I don't know much about Valora Salinas, yet I know immediately right after this interview she's no slouch in this business. With her we could get amazing stories and feud off her, I have this feeling about.
The next match with Grub Grub was short and painful. I'm not really a fan of Grub because with that sort of gimmick, it can go so much wrong.
The win of Eddie Samo isn't a big surprise, sadly. At least he can add a victory to his stats and etablishment of his character. Lana's RPs has developed a bit since the beginning but not quite there where I'd like to see. In my opinion she's kind of platinum talent enhancement, so I agree the commentary. But as long the handler has his/her fun, it's alright, I guess.
Eron Hunter is announcing to wage the war against Tuck and von Krauss on behalf of Evil versus Good thing. I think there will happen some serious stuff and I'm excited to see what Eron can bring on his side. Classic promo.
Holy moly, what's a read. Honestly, the street fight between Salinas and Waters is definitely the unofficial main-event and the match of the month in my opinion. Totally PPV material! I could live with either of both winners, because they both deserved.
Gabriel gets confronted with Armand and I really like the backstory being a slave to Krauss' deceptive nature. That's some quality of storytelling here, folks. Wanna more of it.
In this match Eron totally proved his point but had to pay a price. Good old storytelling match, loved it.
Cross Recoba wants to continue to leave a trail of defeated high-carder to reach the top of the card. Why not but I'm already getting a bit nervous because I'm on the list, too....
I love the fact that there's a continuitation of those little details happened in last shows (or even earlier), for example, after disastrous perfomance of Ashley Baton in the match between Fowler and Ravenna, she was suspended in the next show - almost everything has consequences. Then Kintaru bribed the ref here - but quite unsuccessful and even more come back really badly because this ref got knocked out. Suddenly Ashley rushes in and does her job right on the spot - making impossible that Ashley can be bribed at any time and therefore the result is unimpeachable. Knocking off the corrupt ref twice is absolutely the thing a Tetsuo Oni would do. Then the thing with Rob happens and shows that evil doesn't automatically support another evil. The whole thing is kinda Dave Filoni-sh and I was truly entertained to read the main thread and those details in the background. Definitely the best piece of the week (match + aftermatch).
Then the Valor championship match with an interesting ending which I actually like. Usually, I don't like when somebody endures a submission hold over several minutes because it would undersell the finisher. But in this case it makes sense because of the background of Murdock as Death Match pro. It was obvious that the submission wouldn't be broken but the time limit saved the face of Steve, being no stranger to pain and Ravenna goes off as quite strong because this finisher couldn't be broken despite of stronger and taller opponent. And I like the fact that Blaise to decide to reward somebody's effort, a quite rare but very strong trait in wrestling business. A nice and creative solution to a draw situation.
Then the main-event between Cross Recoba and Rob Riot. It's quite clear that Cross will make a name in CWF landscape, even getting DemoniK out of the hole to put another name on his list... but he needs to defeat Rob. Rob of course used his chance and defeated him. I smell a very nice triple threat match upcoming here. And in the end, Future Shock Society finally did of what they promised: save the day.
Conclusion: a very neat show with smooth bridging commentary, hyping the Naval Warfare with some very exciting stuff like Elite Championship, Battle Royal and tag teams. Other than this, the appearance with graphics and structures (clear separations between segments and matches), which makes reading the show so much more enjoyable. I'm happy and I think we're getting a strong base (as of handlers, feuds, stories and roleplays)!

Star of the Night: Valora Salinas. That's how to come in with a big name and prove you live up to the reputation straight out of the gate.
Match of the Night: Valora Salinas vs Iro Waters was just that pinch better than everything else this time out. Really big night for Valora, and Waters came out stronger than he came in. Everyone wins.
Segment of the Night: Can I say Apathy using SKYND as entrance music? I can't? Damn. In that case I'll probably have to go for the Hunter/von Krauss stuff.
Spot of the Night: Rob Riot finds a way to use Sean Bean's tea as a foreign object. A wonderfully British spot.
Notes/Thoughts: Another good outing for the fed. I particularly like the way it ended with the snapshots for the PPV matches; that played out well in my mind's eye and built hype for Naval Warfare. The only thing I'll nitpick is that I got totally lost with which referee was doing what and why at the end of the Oni/Kintaru match. That seemed to go on for a long time without getting anywhere. Maybe that was my tired eyes when I read it last night, or maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention to the referees, but that got a bit messy for me.

Those comments in particular since it dealt with your match and the changes we've made. Yours was one of the two matches where every judge was like "damnit, this is too close!" And I do hope Murdock likes his reward for doing so well. While he's rp's were shorter, they were right on target. He's proof that you don't need to be as long winded as me to make an impact. But, all you gotta do is beat Windsor now, and you get a chance to any other title in the fed.
